All of the places on the workshop have now been taken.

Join us on Saturday 23 September for a pottery workshop to accompany Tacit Material, the upcoming exhibition by Kentaro Yamada, Hirofume Isoda and Steven Morgan. In the workshop, led by Kentaro’s father, Kenju Yamada, participants will learn how to make a Japanese Chawan— a traditional tea bowl. Kenju learned pottery in Fukuoka, Japan, at the Takatori Kiln, where the traditions have been handed down over fifteen generations

There will be two workshop sessions: one in the morning  (11:00am – 12:30pm) and one in the afternoon (2:00pm – 3:30pm), each running for an hour and a half.

As each session is limited to eight places, bookings are essential.

NB: the morning session and afternoon session are now booked out.
